DIXON TSE

Dixon was admitted as a solicitor in 2013 and called to the bar in 2016.  He represents clients in all levels of courts and disciplinary bodies such as the Market Misconduct Tribunal, the Dental Council, the Pharmacy and Poisons Board, and the Estate Agent Authority.  His deep understanding of the criminal law and regulatory cases is evidenced by his teaching experience in HKU and CityU, and his publications in international journals and Archbold Hong Kong.

He has provided legal advice on criminal and regulatory matters to both public authorities, such as the Securities and Futures Commission and the Employees’ Compensation Assistance Fund Board, and private clients, including parties involved in IPOs.  More recently, he was regularly instructed to advise on criminal issues (such as money laundering) regarding cross-border transactions involving the use of crypto currencies.

He also takes instructions to handle civil disputes involving criminal elements (such as money laundering, false documents, and fraud) including the tracing of proceeds of alleged fraud, defending money service operators who were innocent recipients of such proceeds, as well as money lenders actions.

Senior Counsel have praised Dixon for his meticulous approach and his ability to efficiently organise voluminous documents and witness evidence with a unique perspective on each case.  Dixon has a reputation amongst his clients for his empathetic nature and excellent communication skills that have made them feel supported throughout the legal process.

Dixon is also a legal advisor to Hong Kong Red Cross in a number of its international humanitarian law initiatives, including its Youth Moot and workshops where he shared his research experience into post-World War II war crimes trials in Hong Kong.
