Before joining the Bar, Albert completed a double degree in Law and Accounting at the University of New South Wales in Australia.

Albert was taken on as a tenant in 2007 in these chambers upon completion of his pupillage. Since then, he has acquired considerable experience before a wide range of courts and tribunals, including the Court of Appeal, the High Court, the District Court, the Lands Tribunal and the Liquor Licensing Board.

During his practice, Albert has also been appointed to sit as a Deputy Judicial Officer.

Passport Special Opportunities Master Fund & Anor. v eSun Holdings Limited & Others HCA 2722/2008 – Junior counsel for the intended places in a substantial claim arising from the cancellation of a placement of shares in a publicly listed company.

Goodwell Property Management Ltd v Ng Shung Kwok Dickson & Anor DCCJ 3409/2007 – Appeared for the property management company in enforcing a Deed of Mutual Covenant.

Lam Shui Ngan v Global Cheer Ltd. & Anor. DCPI 2530/2007 – Defended a plastic bag manufacturer in personal injuries case involving issues of product liability.

HKSAR vs. Ho Chin Hou & Anor. DCCC 195/2008 –Junior counsel for the defendant facing charges of commercial fraud.

HKSAR vs. Au Hau Ching DCCC 1144/2006 – Junior counsel for the defendant facing charges involving cross-border money laundering.
